A set of 3-pin female connectors complete with non-insulated terminals and weather proof seals to fit the crankshaft position sensor as fitted to the 2.0L Ford EcoBlue diesel engine. Suitable for use on Ford Focus, Galaxy, Mondeo, Ranger, S Max, Touneo, Transit and Transit Custom models.

  • Applications include: Ford Focus (from 2018), Galaxy (from 2018), Mondeo (from 2019), Ranger (from 2019), S MAX (from 2018), Tourneo Custom (from 2016), Transit (from 2016) and Transit Custom (from 2016).
  • Engines: All 2.0L EcoBlue diesel engines.
  • Equivalent to OEM 805-121-521, 030/413190520 and BMW 7-615-490-24.

It’s happened to all of us: a simple task such as unclipping the connector from the crankshaft position sensor becomes complicated when the connector breaks on removal! The plastic is affected by heat and the older the connector the more brittle it becomes. Then you contact the dealer only to find that they won’t sell you a connector on its own — you have to buy the whole connector and the associated wiring spur. Sounds expensive.

If you’re looking for a connector for the Ford EcoBlue engine, or JLR 2.0 litre diesel engines, forget the dealer, contact your Connect Workshop Consumables stockist. They will happily sell you a 3-Pin Crankshaft Sensor Connector Kit for Ford EcoBlue (part number 39862) or a 3-Pin Crankshaft Sensor Connector Kit for JLR (part number 39865).

Both these kits include two new 3-pin female connectors complete with the correct non-insulated terminals and weatherproof seals to fit the crankshaft position sensor. Release the wiring and connectors from the existing (broken) connector, and refit to the new connector. If the metal terminals are damaged, fit the new ones supplied. 

The 39862 kit fits the crankshaft position sensor as fitted to the 2.0L Ford EcoBlue diesel engine — suitable for use on Ford Focus (from 2018), Galaxy (from 2018), Mondeo (from 2019), Ranger (from 2019), S MAX (from 2018), Tourneo Custom (from 2016), Transit (from 2016) and Transit Custom (from 2016). The 39865 kit fits the crankshaft position sensor as fitted to the Jaguar E-Pace (2017 - 2018), F-Pace (2015 - 2017), XE (2015 - 2017), XF II (2015 - 2017), XF Sportbrake (2017 - 2018), and Land Rover Discovery Sport (2015 - 2020), Discovery V (2016 - 2018), Range Rover Evoque (2015 - 2020), Range Rover IV (from 2017) and Range Rover Sport II (2016 - 2019). Equivalent to OEM 761 5637-04, 03/413190129, 7-615-637-04.

Both kits include two 3-pin female connectors, 6 non-insulated terminals (also available as Connect part number 37487) and 6 weatherproof seals (part number 37376).
